Beamer SP Games:
Alright people, can we have quiet please?
JunkmanGames: Oh, get me another tie, get me another shirt, get me another
woolie!
JunkmanGames: Every day!
Beamer SP Games: SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, I'd like to thank you all for coming to The 2005 SPG Awards.
BRUNO AFH: happy to be here
Beamer SP Games: The turn-out's not as big as I'd hoped, but the show must go on.
Anyway, I'd like to ask for silence please while Smacko presents.
Beamer SP Games: You can post comments and what-not after Smacko's announced the
winner for each category (there will be a one-minute pause between categories for this).
SPG SmAcKO: Thank you Beamer, Lets get the party started.
Beamer SP Games: Make sure you do it after the WINNER is announced, and not just the
nominees... now, without further ado, please welcome your host, Smacko!
JunkmanGames: A strip-tease!
JunkmanGames: Ermm, go on. :p
BRUNO AFH: haha
Beamer SP Games: :-P
SPG SmAcKO: ok lets get it on
CoolFire182: Holy shit Bruno
drkxyoshi: STFU
SPG SmAcKO: Our first award tonight/this morning/this afternoon/this evening will be Most
Anticipated Upcoming Game.
SPG SmAcKO: That's right, it's going the same order it did when you were nominating! I
WOULD present the big awards first, but I'd rather keep you waiting since I'm a sadistic
bastard. :-P
SPG SmAcKO: Anyway, Most Anticipated Upcoming Game is a category in which people
decide...
SPG SmAcKO: well, their most aniticipated upcoming game.
SPG SmAcKO: There are dozens of South Park Games in progress right now,
SPG SmAcKO: many of which have been over-promoted and will undoubtedly disappoint us
all.
SPG SmAcKO: But until then, we continue to look forward to them! Now to find out what
game the community is looking forward to the most. The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Commander Stan 3 (Stanster & Junkman), South Park Metroid (Bunni) and
South Park: Omega Project 2 (Stanster).
SPG SmAcKO: And the Most Anticipated Upcoming Game is...
SPG SmAcKO: Drum-roll
SPG SmAcKO: COMMANDER STAN 3!
SPG SmAcKO: congradulations Stanster
Beamer SP Games: w000t! I didn't win, but I wasn't nominated, so I'm happy! :-P
JunkmanGames: Me neither :-P
JunkmanGames: I should have hold POC2 for another year in order to win :-P
SPG SmAcKO: well i was obvious
Beamer SP Games: Hey, you were working on CS3 with him, so that counts as a win for
you...
JunkmanGames: Well, it was more Stanster's game than mine
JunkmanGames: I only helped with the music and engine so far
IngrmJ347: Cool, all I thought all those demos would be nominees, heh? Well done
Stanster/Junkman, but congratulations to Bunni also! ;-)
Beamer SP Games: Perv. :-P
IngrmJ347: 0wned!
JunkmanGames: This emoticon scares me :-(
CoolFire182: omg its Jon, I didnt even notice
JunkmanGames: Jon?
Beamer SP Games: That's not Jon.
SPG SmAcKO: Okay, now for the second category
JunkmanGames: Dave, stop smoking corn :-P
CoolFire182: Oh... Boo
SPG SmAcKO: if everyones rady
CoolFire182: Never mind then
JunkmanGames: Shhhhhhh
SPG SmAcKO: Our second category, Best Demo, is pretty similar to the first one...
SPG SmAcKO: Only instead of most anticipated upcoming game, this is for unfinished or
upcoming games that have only had demos or betas released.
SPG SmAcKO: Also, instead of voting for the game you're looking forward to the most,
you're voting for the demo you thought was the best...
SPG SmAcKO: Actually, come to think of it, they ARE pretty different categories.
SPG SmAcKO: Alright, scratch everything I just said! The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Halloween Kyle (Stanster), South Park Metroid (Bunni) and Stan's Gothic
Rampage (Stanimation).
SPG SmAcKO: And the Best Demo is...
SPG SmAcKO: SOUTH PARK METROID!
CoolFire182: YESSSS I WON HOLY SHIT!
SPG SmAcKO: Congradulations Bunni
CoolFire182 has left the room.
Beamer SP Games: There's no D in congratulations!
JunkmanGames: It was almost unexpected :-P
SPG SmAcKO: ok
Beamer SP Games: But nice one, Bunni. She deserved it.
JunkmanGames: Yeah :-P
JunkmanGames: I'm still surprised every time I play it
IngrmJ347: Well done, Bunni, predicatble, but well deserved. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: but i rather Stand Gothic rampage
SPG SmAcKO: Stans*
SPG SmAcKO: More fun
JunkmanGames: Perhaps it was longer
Beamer SP Games: Stan's Gothic Rampage was more whole, but SP Metroid had more
potential & a better engine.
JunkmanGames: But South Park Metroid had more polish in its short length
JunkmanGames: And the way she portrayed Kraid was really nice
Beamer SP Games: Alright, quiet please as Smacko presents the next one.
SPG SmAcKO: Okay, now its time to start category 3 so shhhhhhh
SPG SmAcKO: As you know, not all South Park Games are made in Klik 'n Play, Click and
Create, The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion (AKA "Klik programs").
SPG SmAcKO: Some are made in Flash, some are made in more obscure game-making
programs, and some are even coded like a REAL game!
SPG SmAcKO: So, what one ranks highest in South Park Gaming? The nominees for Best
Non-Klik Game are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cartman's Authoritah (Derek Long) and Don't Kill Kenny 2 (Paul Smith).
SPG SmAcKO: And the Best Non-Klik game, which won by a landslide vote, is...
SPG SmAcKO: CARTMAN'S AUTHORITAH!
Beamer SP Games: Well who didn't see THAT coming? :-P
SPG SmAcKO: obvious choice
JunkmanGames: *feeble hand raise*
JunkmanGames: Meeeeeeeeee!
Beamer SP Games: Well deserving, though.
JunkmanGames: Yeah :-P
SPG SmAcKO: That was my first SPG ever downloaded, i loved it
SPG SmAcKO: :'(
JunkmanGames: Honestly, if Don't Kill Kenny 2 won, I would have shot myself :-P
SPG SmAcKO: true
Beamer SP Games: Hahaha.
IngrmJ347: Yeah, you can tell C'sA is better, but I voted Don't Kill Kenny, for some reason.
:-P :'-(
Beamer SP Games: I'm just glad Visual Mario wasn't nominated. :-P
JunkmanGames: Or that horrible South Park Wazzup game
SPG SmAcKO: yeah thats true
JunkmanGames: From the same author
SPG SmAcKO: :-P
Beamer SP Games: Hehehe. Okay, now onto the next category. Quiet, please.
SPG SmAcKO: Some game makers are very lazy, only releasing one game every few years
*cough*Stanster*cough*.
SPG SmAcKO: However, some game makers are completely over-productive, and decide to
release several games in one!
SPG SmAcKO: These are more commonly known as "Compilation games," and there have
been more than a fair share of them released in South Park Gaming.
SPG SmAcKO: Which one do you think is best? Well, the nominees for Best Compilation
Game are...
SPG SmAcKO: South Park Classics (Beamer), South Park Rage (Mark Hadley) and South
Park Ultra (Mark Hadley).
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner of Best Compilation Game is...
SPG SmAcKO: SOUTH PARK RAGE!
Beamer SP Games: w00t!
Beamer SP Games: Another fucking obvious victory, but still well deserved. ;-)
SPG SmAcKO: yep thats so true
JunkmanGames: Long live Cartman & Conquer!
IngrmJ347: Got my vote, you wonder why it got 9 out of 10 on its review. :-P
Beamer SP Games: IngramJ, your smileys are freaking me out.
JunkmanGames: It's too psychedelic for me, maaaaaaan!
Beamer SP Games: It's like something out of a less-disturbing Salad Fingers. :-P
JunkmanGames: I liiiiike it when the red water comes out.....
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, next category. Shuddahellup!
SPG SmAcKO: For every game maker who's too lazy to come up with their own idea, there
will always be a sport out there that they can make a game about.
SPG SmAcKO: Many of these have been made in South Park Gaming, and so I'm sure the
question on everyone's mind right now is - just what is the Best Sport Game?
SPG SmAcKO: Well, the nominees for this category are...
SPG SmAcKO: American Gladiators (Nomad), South Park Ice Hockey (Polygon) and South
Park Olympics 2004: Athens (Beamer).
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner of Best Sport Game is...
SPG SmAcKO: obviously
SPG SmAcKO: AMERICAN GLADIATORS!
Beamer SP Games: HURRAH! An under-appreciated game at times that rarely gets
mentioned, but deserves all the recognition it gets. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: I loved it
JunkmanGames: Reminds me I haven't even reviewed it yet
IngrmJ347: It kinda misses the SP theme, but it's another well deserved win! 8-)
JunkmanGames: Yet I found time to review turds like South Park Nitro :-P
Beamer SP Games: I thought you did? I seem to remember a review of it at one point...
Beamer SP Games: Hmm, maybe this was at the old SPG forums or something. Oh well,
great game.
JunkmanGames: It was a small mini-review for a SPGTV show Bruno was making
Beamer SP Games: Ah, okay.
JunkmanGames: Anyway, great game
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, onto the next category...
SPG SmAcKO: agreed
SPG SmAcKO: Intelligence is a virute in society, and nothing quite challenges your intelligence
like The Jerry Springer Show...
SPG SmAcKO: Wait, no, that INSULTS your intelligence. My bad.
SPG SmAcKO: Anyway, all you bright members of South Park Gaming out there (and we've
been assured there ARE some!) love puzzle games, since they put your brain to the test and
make you feel even smarter when you pass them.
SPG SmAcKO: So, what is the Best Puzzle Game released in SPG? The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Kennys 2 (Polygon), Navigating Kenny (Beamer) and The Lost Kids
(Junkman).
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner of Best Puzzle Game is...
SPG SmAcKO: KENNYS 2!
Beamer SP Games: WOOOOO! Go Polygon!
IngrmJ347: w00t
Beamer SP Games: My favourite game until POC2 was released. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: very talented game creator
Beamer SP Games: It really deserves it, anyone who was around during its release will know
the immense popularity it had. It was a fad amongst all SPGaming... people started making
custom levels & putting them online and everything.
JunkmanGames: It's a shame the level editor doesn't work under Windows XP
JunkmanGames: That, and Link's levels were too fucking hard :-P
IngrmJ347: Next category?
Beamer SP Games: Hah, yeah. Still, great game at the time of its release.
Beamer SP Games: Alright, ImgramJ's getting impatient, let's progress. :-P
SPG SmAcKO: areed
SPG SmAcKO: agreed*
SPG SmAcKO: Platformers are the most popular genre in South Park Gaming...
SPG SmAcKO: Perhaps because they're easy to make, or perhaps because the side-scrolling
platformer in modern gaming has gone the way of the dodo, or Mephisto and Kevin.
Seriously, what the hell ever happened to them?
SPG SmAcKO: Maybe they're busy playing traditional platformers! If so, I'm sure they'd be
more than curious to find out which one you've voted as the best. The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cartman's Adventure 3 (Beamer), Cartman's Adventure 4 (Beamer) and
South Park Super Mario Brothers 2 (Polygon).
SPG SmAcKO: And the Best Traditional Platformer in South Park Gaming, winning with a
very close vote, is...
SPG SmAcKO: CARTMAN'S ADVENTURE 4!
Beamer SP Games: w00000000000000000000000t!!!!! :-D
SPG SmAcKO: congratulations
IngrmJ347: :-D
Beamer SP Games: Won by ONE vote too, to SP Super Mario Bros 2.
SPG SmAcKO: :-*
IngrmJ347: :-X
JunkmanGames: Woooooo!
Beamer SP Games: I think SPSMB2 deserved it a little more, but hey, I'm not complaining.
:-P
JunkmanGames: Congratulations for beating Polygon :-P
SPG SmAcKO: Just
JunkmanGames: Yet, CA4 was an awesome game
JunkmanGames: Despite the graphics
SPG SmAcKO: Yes it was
SPG SmAcKO: the graphics were cool
Beamer SP Games: Alright, enough sucking up to the birthday boy! Smacko - bring on the
next category!
SPG SmAcKO: Okay okay
SPG SmAcKO: Still on the subject of platformers, not all are your typical jump & bump
games like our previous category.
SPG SmAcKO: We all know South Park Gamers are bloodthristy pyshcopaths, so it only
makes sense that most of the platformers released are action games filled with all sorts of
violence and weaponary.
SPG SmAcKO: So, what's the Best Action Platformer? The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Commander Stan (Stanster), Planet of Cartmans (Junkman), Planet of
Cartmans 2 (Junkman) and South Park: Omega Project (Stanster)
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner of Best Action Platformer is...
SPG SmAcKO: ...
SPG SmAcKO: ...
SPG SmAcKO: PLANET OF CARTMANS 2!
Beamer SP Games: No surprises there! ;-)
SPG SmAcKO: yeah
IngrmJ347: All too blatant!
JunkmanGames: Wooohooo!
Beamer SP Games: Still, congratulations Junkman. You deserved it. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: yeah i guess you did
JunkmanGames: It's a shame Cartmans Adventure wasn't nominated :-P
JunkmanGames: It would have won!
Beamer SP Games: Seriously, POC2 is what all action-platformers in SPG wish they were...
it's the epitome of the genre at the moment.
SPG SmAcKO: yep, sure was
Beamer SP Games: So nice going, Junkman. And since I wasn't even nomintaed, I won't kill
you!
SPG SmAcKO: awww, how sweet
JunkmanGames: Woooo! Thanks!
Beamer SP Games: Alright, moving along, Smacko...
SPG SmAcKO: However, not all action games are platformers.
SPG SmAcKO: You can still satisfy your blood lust with plenty of non-sidescrolling games,
and there's been more than a fair share of them released in South Park Gaming.
SPG SmAcKO: Less than a fair share of GOOD ones, but that's what this category's for - to
find the Best Non-Platform Action Game! The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cyborg Kenny (Beamer), Kenny's Rampage 2 (Matt Kennedy), South Park
Y (Jon Robson & Scott Ewart), South Park Y 2 (Jon Robson, Scott Ewart & Andrew
Rumney) and Y-Fire (The Dude).
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner is...
SPG SmAcKO: SOUTH PARK Y 2!
Beamer SP Games: Yay, yet another fucking obvious win!
IngrmJ347: :-D
SPG SmAcKO: thats true
SPG SmAcKO: great game
SPG SmAcKO: :'(
JunkmanGames: AHHHH
JunkmanGames: FREAK SMILEY ATTACK
Beamer SP Games: We all know how I feel about the SpY series - lots of potential, but also
lots of bugs. Still, they obviously put a LOT of effort into the game, so congratulations to
them. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: yep
Beamer SP Games: Okay, new category time...
SPG SmAcKO: We can't forget that games aren't JUST about the gameplay. They SHOULD
be, but nooo, these days, everyone wants more. Greedy bastards... they don't even HAVE
videogames in Africa!
SPG SmAcKO: What's my point? I don't even KNOW, but I'd like to think I just made it!
SPG SmAcKO: Anyway, a vital part of games are the cutscenes - not only do they tell the
story and string the game together for us in a nice visual way, but they're entertaining, and
sometimes even contain nudity!
SPG SmAcKO: So, what game has the best cutscenes? Here's a hint, it's one of the following
nominees...
SPG SmAcKO: Cartman's Adventure 4 (Beamer), Planet of Cartmans 2 (Junkman), South
Park True Lies (Chris Nolan) and South Park Y 2 (Jon Robson, Scott Ewart & Andrew
Rumney).
SPG SmAcKO: It was close, but the official winner of Best Cutscenes in a Game is...
SPG SmAcKO: PLANET OF CARTMANS 2!
Beamer SP Games: w00000000000t!
JunkmanGames: Wooooooo x 2!
Beamer SP Games: Congratulations Junkman, the entire year you spent working on them
paid off in pointless internet award form! :-P
IngrmJ347: Nice.
JunkmanGames: This is the greatest day of my life!
JunkmanGames: Even though SPy2 should have won in my books
Beamer SP Games: Seriously, it WAS very close. I think it was only one or two votes ahead
of SpY 2.
SPG SmAcKO: :'(
Beamer SP Games: Although personally, I'm outraged that South Park Poleiece Patroll
wasn't nominated.
IngrmJ347: HA!!!!
Beamer SP Games: "YAY I KILELD KENNY I BASARTD!"
JunkmanGames: SPy2 cutscenes were far superior than POC2, but it's a miracle I
managed to pull them off, considering how crappy my drawing skills are
IngrmJ347: "RAAAAAAAAAGH IM BAKC!!!"
SPG SmAcKO: haahaha
Beamer SP Games: Junkman, seriously, POC2's cutscenes blew me away. The only
downside was the bad grammar, but you still desereved the award.
SPG SmAcKO: gotta love i
JunkmanGames: OH NOOOES I MOST SHOOT HIM AGAINNE
SPG SmAcKO: haha
IngrmJ347: wood i liekke to plaie agianne?
SPG SmAcKO: lol
Beamer SP Games: You have selected NO. :-P
SPG SmAcKO: LOL
SPG SmAcKO: LOL
SPG SmAcKO: LOL
Beamer SP Games: Someone broke Smacko!
IngrmJ347: hahahaha youre stupid
Beamer SP Games: Alright, next category...
SPG SmAcKO: well, iam workin for fox
SPG SmAcKO: Okay Okay
SPG SmAcKO: Still on the subject of non-gameplay, graphics play a crucial part in
videogames, too. Why? Because without them, they wouldn't be VIDEO games, now would
they?
SPG SmAcKO: Anyway, for all you people who care so much about how games look, I'm
sure you'll all be interested in our next category: Bets Graphics in a Game.
SPG SmAcKO: Personally, I don't really care, since I'm not that shallow. Now let's hurry this
up, I've got to go judge at a beauty pageant in 10 minutes! The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cartman's Adventure 4 (Beamer), Planet of Cartmans 2 (Junkman), South
Park: Omega Project (Stanster) and South Park Y 2 (Jon Robson, Scott Ewart & Andrew
Rumney).
SPG SmAcKO: This was also a close category, but the winner of Best Graphics in a Game
is...
SPG SmAcKO: SOUTH PARK OMEGA PROJECT!
Beamer SP Games: w00000t! Go Stanster! :-D
JunkmanGames: Clear winner here!
IngrmJ347: :-!
SPG SmAcKO: thats true
JunkmanGames: Stanster and Shade are one hell of a team when they make
graphics together
SPG SmAcKO: awesomenessivesniderenlousen graphics
Beamer SP Games: I think SP:OP really deserved it, since it had original graphics too.
JunkmanGames: Unlike almost every nominated game :-P
JunkmanGames: Especially mine :-P
SPG SmAcKO: hah, burned
Beamer SP Games: Yeah, and Ca4's backgrounds were taken directly from Sonic games,
too.
SPG SmAcKO: Klap, ya still alive
Beamer SP Games: Klap's idle at the moment...
SPG SmAcKO: yeah, I realised that
SPG SmAcKO: oh
Beamer SP Games: Even if I am SO proud of the sprite I did for The Beast. :-P
SPG SmAcKO: :-[
Beamer SP Games: Hold on, I'm just working out something for the next award
presentation...
JunkmanGames: Puppy rain!
Beamer SP Games: IngramJ, can you respond to my IM please?
SPG SmAcKO: MOOT PIE
SPG SmAcKO: MMMmmmm
SPG SmAcKO: extra filling
IngrmJ347: Done. ;-)
Beamer SP Games: Okay, for the next category, Ingram-J will be a guest presenter.
SPG SmAcKO: Ouch, buned
SPG SmAcKO: burned*
SPG SmAcKO: ;-)
Beamer SP Games: Hit it, Ingram!
IngrmJ347: Of course, games aren't the only thing South Park Gaming has to offer.IngrmJ347: We also have a little thing called SPGtv, a collection of short, entertaining shows
made by South Park Gamers using their game-making programs.IngrmJ347: SPGtv has bored DOZENS worldwide, and now it's time to see which show you
people think is the best. Here are your nominees...IngrmJ347: AOL vs Lee (Junkman), South Park 3000 (Beamer) and South Park Claymation
(ad8887 & Smacko).IngrmJ347: And with a landslide vote, the winner is...IngrmJ347: SOUTH PARK 3000!Beamer SP Games: HURRAH!!! :-D
SPG SmAcKO: YAY, i got nominated
JunkmanGames: Happy Productins' Madness Hour!
JunkmanGames: Oh, well :-P
Beamer SP Games: And now you see why Smacko couldn't present. ;-)
SPG SmAcKO: hahah yeah...
JunkmanGames: Anyway, great win Beamer!
JunkmanGames: Like anyone could stand a chance to SP 3000 :-P
SPG SmAcKO: SP3000 deserved it by far
SPG SmAcKO: well, claymation had a chance
Beamer SP Games: Thanks... I won't comment on my own show, but I can say that each
episode takes about 3 months to make, so I'm glad my work paid off. :-)
Beamer SP Games: Haha.
IngrmJ347: We all the love the show full pf unneeded nudity! :-D
SPG SmAcKO: Laura is sooo hot
SPG SmAcKO: ;-)
Beamer SP Games: IngramJ LOVED seeing the hairy she-male walking around the palace.
:-P
SPG SmAcKO: haha
IngrmJ347: What's ironic is that there's a girl in my year called Laura SpenceR!! :-$
IngrmJ347: Onto the next category anyway.
SPG SmAcKO: my girlfriend is caled Laura Smith...no Lie
Beamer SP Games: Yeah, that is quite scary... she's not based on anyone though, I just felt
it'd be an apporpriate name for a news reporter.
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, Smacko, next category.
SPG SmAcKO: ok, lets get it on...GRIDMAN
JunkmanGames: Oh yeah!
SPG SmAcKO: We all know that if there's one thing South Park Gamers lack, it's originality...
but don't worry, they make up for it with virginity!
SPG SmAcKO: Anyway, if one game is successful in South Park Gaming, chances are the
gamer will make a sequel, and possibly turn it into a series. So, what is the Best Game
Series? The nominees are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cartman's Adventure (Beamer), Planet of Cartmans (Junkman), South Park
Arcade (Polygon) and South Park Y (Jon Robson & Scott Ewart).
SPG SmAcKO: And the winner of Best Game Series is...
SPG SmAcKO: CARTMAN'S ADVENTURE!
IngrmJ347: Yay!
SPG SmAcKO: Ohh ight
JunkmanGames: Obvioustitatically!
Beamer SP Games: w00000000t! 2 wins in a row! In your face, Joolsa!
JunkmanGames: Hell, CA2, CA3 and CA4 are all excellent :-P
SPG SmAcKO: Joolsa is making pop corn necklaces for moses
SPG SmAcKO: yeah thats true
IngrmJ347: JOOOOLLSAAA GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMEEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beamer SP Games: In all fairness, I felt POC deserved it more, since both games are in my
top 3. But I think it was a bit more overlooked when voting since it only had 2 installments,
whereas CA has had 4.
SPG SmAcKO: zI loved them all
JunkmanGames: An achievement no game series ever managed :-P
SPG SmAcKO: Okay, what do you say we get underway
Beamer SP Games: Yep, go.
SPG SmAcKO: Now, onto Most Original Game Concept... wait, what? Ah crap, now I'm
going to seem like a hypocrite after all of my jokes about how unoriginal SPGamers are!
SPG SmAcKO: Well, anyway, there IS the occassional original game in South Park Gaming.
SPG SmAcKO: So, what makes an original South Park Game? Well, gameplay-wise, it's
supposed to be something that hasn't been done anywhere, not just in SPG, but in general
gaming itself.
SPG SmAcKO: All unique ideas pulled off in an original way, the nominees for Most Original
Concept are...
SPG SmAcKO: Cocktails (RFI), Kenny Puzzler (Junkman), Navigating Kenny (Beamer),
Planet of Cartmans (Junkman) and Touched (RFI).
SPG SmAcKO: . Many people struggled chosing games for this category, and very few games
got more than one vote. However, in the end, the winner turned out to be...
SPG SmAcKO: PLANET OF CARTMANS!
Beamer SP Games: Totally disagree, but congratulations none the less, Junkman.
SPG SmAcKO: :-P
JunkmanGames: Whoever voted for POC in this category must be castrated :-P
IngrmJ347: Touched was pretty original. RFI isn't online, sadly. :'(
BRUNO AFH: RFI is great with originality
JunkmanGames: Well, the people have spoken...
Beamer SP Games: I don't feel it was an original concept. Story-wise, yes, that's fair enough
- but this was going by gameplay, and POC was just your standard action-platformer.
JunkmanGames: Indeed
JunkmanGames: Indeed again
Beamer SP Games: I feel that RFI deserved it much more, and it was more-or-less a case of
people not understanding the category.
JunkmanGames: POC was pretty much a tribute to CS1, anyway
BRUNO AFH: oh?
Beamer SP Games: Oh well, at least Happy Productins didn't win. One person actually
nominated South Park Poleiece Pattrol for this category, who shall remain nameless. :-P
SPG SmAcKO: good
JunkmanGames: Hey, it's original, at least!
Beamer SP Games: I'm not joking there, either.
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, moving along...
SPG SmAcKO: i wanted to vote for flan fish
Beamer SP Games: True. I invented the concept of the fland fish!
SPG SmAcKO: If there's one thing that helps keep a community alive, it's new members. Old
members leave all the time, just as new members join. It's the circle of life, and many new
members have joined this year.
SPG SmAcKO: However, out of the ones that make games, which new member does the
community think is the best?
SPG SmAcKO: Keep in mind this is going purely by their game-making abilities and the
content they put out, not by post quality or non-gaming contributions. Anyway, the nominees
are...
SPG SmAcKO: Ezezeta, IngramJ, Klaptrapx, Rodrinator and The Dude.
SPG SmAcKO: And the Best New South Park Gamer is...
SPG SmAcKO: THE DUDE!
SPG SmAcKO: obviously
Beamer SP Games: Hurrah!
Beamer SP Games: Pity he's not here to accept it.
SPG SmAcKO: oh well
Beamer SP Games: Oh well, I actually think that everyone on that list has potential as a
game-maker, and it was good to see the stand-out one win.
JunkmanGames: I'll accept... ummm, give him his trophy!
JunkmanGames: :-P
Beamer SP Games: Hahaha.
JunkmanGames: But I like winning prizes!
Beamer SP Games: Quick Smacko, go onto the next category before he steals the award!
SPG SmAcKO: arghhh too much pressure
Beamer SP Games: *pushes Junkman over* Come on, you've got 30 seconds!
SPG SmAcKO: However, the real question is - which South Park Gamer does the community
think is best?
SPG SmAcKO: New, old, retired, still making games... as long as somebody has released a
game and it's on the archives, they're up for this award.
SPG SmAcKO: So, let's get on with it. The nominees for Best South Park Gamer of all Time
are...
SPG SmAcKO: Happy Productins, Joolsa, Richard Hendrix, Scott Holmes and
SouthAmericanPark.
SPG SmAcKO: Hah, gotcha! What, you didn't think I would stop making jokes just because
we're on one of the most important categories, did you? Alright, here are the REAL
nominees...
SPG SmAcKO: Beamer, Junkman, Kain X, Matt Crosta, Matt Kennedy and Polygon
SPG SmAcKO: It was a very close battle between many of the nominees. However, in the
end, the winner of Best South Park Gamer of all Time turned out to be...

SPG SmAcKO: cool
Beamer SP Games: JK, keep in mind my computer's very slow, and has limited space. I need
a console if I want a decent gaming experience.
IngrmJ347: I'm staying at home 'til I get a headache from using the computer for 5 hours.
JunkmanGames: Since it's an holiday, I'll have extra wage for the day
BRUNO AFH: then use a playstation

SPG SmAcKO: Xbox is better
SPG SmAcKO: built in memory

SPG SmAcKO: Okay, several people have IMed me with death threats if I stall one more

JunkmanGames: Well, I know today that those 4 years weren't lost :-P
SPG SmAcKO: haha
Beamer SP Games: And in response to JK's comments about Sega not bringing out a
console in the future - DUH, they closed down their console-making branch in 2002. That's
WHY I hate Sony, they put Sega's console industry out of business.
SPG SmAcKO: aha
Beamer SP Games: And hence why I refuse to support Sony ever again. Anyway,
congratulations Junkman, you really deserved it.
JunkmanGames: All right children, no more console arguing please
JunkmanGames: Or I'll shoot you all in the groin
SPG SmAcKO: :'(
SPG SmAcKO: :-X
Beamer SP Games: I said earlier that POC2 was the epitome of action-platformers in SPG,
and I stand by that still... However, not only is it that, but it's also the epitome of South Park
Games in general.
SPG SmAcKO: yep
JunkmanGames: Well, not that much :-P
SPG SmAcKO: gotta love EPITOME
Beamer SP Games: Every great game ever released in SPG in the future will be compared to
POC2, and it's going to be one helluva game to top
JunkmanGames: Hell, POC2 is hardly perfect, there is yet a lot of room for
improvement
Beamer SP Games: It's as close to perfect as SPG's ever come, though.
JunkmanGames: Yeah
Beamer SP Games: Anyway, just take the fucking compliment and accept the award! :-P
JunkmanGames: Okay dokie!
SPG SmAcKO: cool
JunkmanGames: *me kneels down in fear*

me host this wonderful event.
SPG SmAcKO: Finally, thank you all for coming here today, and taking the time out of your
busy day/night to support South Park Gaming
SPG SmAcKO: It's thanks to you that the community stays strong, and we're greatful to
everony who showed up in this chat today. Thank you!
SPG SmAcKO: The room will now be kept open for congratulating the winners, talking about
the award show itself, and general discussion.
Beamer SP Games: Thank you, Smacko. You did a great job at presenting. A little slow at
first, but it moved along nicely in the end. :-)
SPG SmAcKO: and thank you for letting me be the announcer:-)
