Note: While the Preview forum is not as highly regulated as the Review forum, it still does contain a few rules and pointers that you should know about, so please read carefully through this topic before posting.[/b]
FORUM RULES & INFORMATION:* Preview must be a preview of an upcoming South Park game, and a fairly large project, too. There's no point in previewing a small project that you're likely to release a few days after making the preview.
* Previews WILL be deleted once the full version of the game is out.
* While there is no set format for setting previews, they should be several paragraphs long (at least 2) and should contain important information regarding the game.
* We have no problem with you promoting your games... after all, that's what the preview forum is for. However, if you say something that's blatant false advertising of your game, or bashing of others (eg. This is the best South Park game ever! The other SPGs suck in comparrison!), your preview will not be posted on the board.
* Your game must be a decent amount in progress for you to post a preview. eg. If you have only got the basic storyline done and don't even know if the game will go ahead, there's not exactly much about the game you can preview, so don't even bother trying until it's in good progress.
* Feel free to insert game screenshots into it, but try to keep it to 8 or less within one preview. Also, game screenshots can not be any wider than 520 pixels, as this will stretch the page.
* You cannot reply to a preview thread.
* To make sure previews are fit enough for the preview board, they will be approved by a moderator or administrator before being posted on the board, so don't worry if it takes a day or so to get it up.
* If your preview IS denied posting, the mod/admin who denied it will send you a private message explaining why.
That's about it. These guidelines are fairly easy to follow, so my guess is that there'll only ever be a small minority of previews denied from submission. Most of these rules were fairly obvious to begin with, I'm simply posting them here to make sure everyone's aware of it, and those who break these rules don't exactly have much to dispute. Other than that, you'd have to do a REALLY bad job to get a preview denied, so there's really not much to worry about. Happy previewing!
